Anyone who sets out to do anything for the common good in Australia, does so in the spirit of the ANZACS, whether they are a firefighter, a social activist, an environmental activist or an officer of the law. It imbues every person with dignity and integrity, even when faced with the most difficult of situations. This is the spirit in which the ANZAC Memorial Center was built, and the visits to the Center are conducted in this same spirit. The ANZAC spirit is the spirit that prevailed on the battlefield where the ANZACs had fought and outside it and they had passed this spirit on to the generations that followed.
